Both stories in this set are filled with adventure and passion and hot guys it don't get better than that... im an huge fan of Caris Roane"s work this is just once again a total seller.... very well written...was given this book for an honest review.
Wicked Night
This is the story of the master vampire Gabriel and the human-fae Thea. He didn't want to be bound to any woman. It always meant constant arguing between the two who were bound. That didn't stop him from wanting her in his bed for the past two years. Even better now that she wants a healing amulet from him. Is she willing to trade her time for the amulet?
Dark Night
The short story is about master vampire Eligio and witch Sol-Brenna. He wanted her desperately but did not want to be bound. She wants him secretly but had already survived losing her vampire fiancé with whom she was bound to. She didn't want to lose another but the tendrils of both have other ideas in mind.
These are the first and second stories in the Amulet series. Fantastic shorts in a series of shorts. I love these intense master vampires and the quirky little witches that fate puts in their paths. I can't wait for the next story.

These short stories were great. Just enough to keep you reading. Wish the 2nd one could be longer.

Predating the Blood Rose Tales, these short stories provide an additional facet to the BR series. I enjoyed the dynamics between the Master Vampire and the human/fae widow he has patiently courted for two years in book one. And the Master Vampire in book two has become enamored by the feisty witch who is now in possession of an amulet that can be turned deadly in the wrong hands. Because these are short stories, they move quickly, but are packed with passion and adventure. i definitely recommend them and am happy to add them to my reread list.
Did you enjoy Caris' Blood Rose Series? If you did you'll love the Amulet Series. Do you like hot sex scenes? You'll love the Amulet Series. Not a lot of time? You'll love the Amulet Series.
You could call these little shorties, hot shots. Of Caris' three series that I've read, these are the steamiest of the Blood Rose, Guardian/Dawn of Ascension and Amulet Series.
I did enjoy them, wished for a little more. It was just enough to get the storyline, but not long so there's not a lot of time invested.
